I am Charlotte Black, a Make-up and Hair designer, artist and Creative Director based in the South of England, specializing in makeup for Fashion & Editorial, Beauty, TV & Film and Bridal. I worked freelance for several years before returning to study for my Bachelors degree, I chose to return to study after completing my certification in Bridal Makeup as this sparked a fire to learn more and gain an industry relevant qualification. Since completing my BA I am now undertaking a masters degree in Creative Direction for Fashion and Beauty.
As a makeup artist I have a passion for making everyone feel their best, empowering people to be their most authentic selves is something that I hold in extremely high regard. I want all my clients to have a smile on their face when they leave my chair.
As a Creative Director I strive to create beautiful imagery working with a full team of creative professionals, to take charge of the project and make sure that the final outcome is of a high standard.
In 2022 I was the Editor in chief of GUNK Collective; an online creative platform for makeup artists spanning across many forms of social media including instagram, TikTok and YouTube. Many of my works have been featured in publications including Fashion Intern Magazine, Volets Zine, Denim- In Her Jeans (available on Amazon) etc.
